Gil Scott-Heron: I’m New Here

This is is not a CD. It is a compact disc experience.

The legendary poet Gil Scott-Heron releases this album amidst new-age electro like Laroux and , super pop like Justin Beiber and stands a lone on the record stand as a monument to music and creating a legacy.

Some of the tracks sound like they were the flint and stone that sparked hip hop inspiration. Though Mr. Scott-Heron is known for his words the instrumental production is nothing short of extraordinary, he has a resounding piano presence and voice.

I open the package as if it were a precious parcel (because it is). What came out of my speakers was digitized enlightenment. Stereophonic soul.

You may listen to the track attached an under appreciate its greatness, we are all entitled to our opinions but do not leave this up to chance. Follow the instructions noted on the back cover of the CD booklet.

There is a proper procedure for taking advantage of any investment.
Music, for example. Buying a CD is an investment.
To get the maximum you must

Not in you car or on a portable player through a headset.
Take it home.
Get rid of all distractions,(even her or him)
Turn off your cell phone.
Turn off everything that rings or beeps or rattles or whistles.
Make yourself comfortable.
Play your CD.
LISTEN all the way though.
Think about what you got.
Think about who would appreciate this investment.
Decide if there is someone to share this with.
Turn it on again.
